generally, slender, small build. With a slender, less-than-muscular, far-from-lanky build, Stacy stands at approximately five foot three inches, and weighs 105 pounds. She has a light, strikingly pale complexion. Upon her face, a splash of scattered freckles can be noticed. She has a long, heart-shaped face, full lips, a long, thin nose, and olive-shaped eyes. Her eyebrows are a darker shade than her chocolate-brown hair, and more straight than arched. Her eyes are hazel. Her style is... well, plain and simple. She likes to wear comfortable clothing, such as plain, colourful tees, skinny jeans with colourful, studded belts, chains and suspenders, and plain running shoes.
when shifted, slender, small build.Even in animal form, Stacy still takes on a slender-bodied figure - hardly accommodating any muscle. When in this form, her eyes remain the same hazel colour as they do in her human form. As per usual for most shifters, Stacy's fur colour remains the same colour as her hair - with dominating black stripes painted across her body. These stripes follow a specific pattern, from her head to the very tip of her tail - which is dipped in black. Like most tabby cats, Stacy has a unique set of stripes patterned in the shape of an M across her head. Her paws, chest, and muzzle are a slightly lighter shade than the rest of her body.

traits, laid back, loyal, protective, sensitive, difficult to anger, stubborn.LAID BACK. Stacy is a fairly easy-going girl. She doesn't let a lot of things get under her skin, and she tends to zone out of drama. She does falter occasionally and lash out at others when feeling frustrated or tired, but even then she tries to control herself and stay calm.
LOYAL & PROTECTIVE. Stacy will always be looking out for those she holds dear, and vows to never let them down. She will stand up for them when necessary, although she will step back and allow them to fight their own battles, granted she knows they can handle themselves. This is said to be her "fatal flaw", as she will often times put the safety of others above her own.
SENSITIVE. Likewise, Stacy is a devoted, sensitive person, although her other traits greatly outshine her sensitivity. If you stick around for long enough, and dig deep enough - you will surely discover this exclusive side of her, waiting to be released. However, Stacy isn't exactly one to really unleash it on her own.
LONG FUSE. It takes a lot to make Stacy mad. She is big on forgiveness, and does not take pleasure in holding grudges. However, if you do manage to make her mad, you've got yourself in some serious hot water. Though she will find the willingness to forgive you in time, she may have different feelings for you afterwards.
STUBBORN. Stacy is a very hard-headed girl. When she sets her mind to something, it's difficult to get her to change her mind, and she will not give up until she accomplishes her goal. This includes academics, personal goals, arguments with others, and defending those she holds dear.

story, average, uneventful. From the moment she was born, Stacy had an average childhood. She was brought up in a middle-class society with loving parents - living a modest lifestyle. She was the only child they would ever have - their pride and joy. For the longest time they lived a seemingly normal life. But of course, every family has their secrets. Secrets which Stacy wouldn't figure out until she hit her teenage years. Stacy was home-schooled for much of her young life - for reasons that again, would not be revealed until her teenage years.
She always had that feeling that her life was anything but normal, as it had been preceived to be. The feeling lingered, and it was bothering her. She heard distant voices in her head - voices which sneered at her, whispered to her. One day, it became so much that it caused her to run away from home. She was brought back to her parents in less than a week. Surprisingly enough, they weren't mad at her. Stacy questioned the secrecy of her family, and they simply told her that "it would all come to her soon."
One night, Stacy was having strange, impossible dreams, which shook her awake. She knew the dream itself was ridiculous, but somehow she thought maybe it had symbolic meaning behind it. All of her thoughts were shaken from her head when she heard voices. This time, they hadn't been coming from her head. They were coming from the room next to hers. It was her parents. Subconsciously, she put her ear to the wall, and listened through. All she could hear were a few words here and there. The rest were mumbles.
The next morning was when her parents confronted her. The previous night, they'd been talking about a secret they feel they'd been keeping from her for too long. Her parents went into detail about people who had the ability to turn into one respective animal. Stacy was dumbfounded by what she was hearing. It was then that she learned that her parents were both felidae shifters. Her mother had the ability to shift into a panther, and her father a cougar. Stacy discovered that she could shift into a tabby cat. Her shifted form wasn't all that impressive, but the ability itself was exciting.
Her parents had also discussed moving from their rural home, to be closer to others like them - and to be closer to a private school exclusively for shifters. They only wanted the best for their daughter, and it would be up to her whether they moved or not. After giving it a thought, Stacy was on board. She was excited to be living in a new place, and to be attending a new school.

example post, Another shifter site I used to go on, with my character Devyn Krueger. This place was nothing like home. It was almost like foreign soil to her - like stepping into a whole new world. And the people here were different, too. They seemed more distant - keeping to themselves. For the most part, it was like Devyn wasn't even in the same world anymore. She, like most others, was just as distant. She wondered why she even had to leave home and come to this place to start with. Why couldn't she have just rented an apartment back home? Quite frankly, it was boring here.
Devyn really hated the morning. She would much rather sleep in until the afternoon than get up and do much of anything. Today wasn't one of those days, though. For some reason, she woke up too early, and she couldn't get back to sleep. As per usual with mornings such as this, Devyn would be in a grumpy mood for the rest of the day. It wasn't much different than the way she usually was, but she was a little bit snappier and less than likely to take a joke.
Nonetheless, she couldn't bring herself to waste a nice day like this. She decided maybe she'd go see a movie or something. A movie? What could be more boring than sitting in a dark room watching a screen for two hours? Oh well, it was better than nothing. Besides, what else was there around here to do?
Devyn threw on a pair of jeans and a plain t-shirt, and slipped on her running shoes. She stuck her hand out the door - another typical sunny, humid summer day. She decided to ride her skateboard down to the movie threatre instead. Quickly, she pulled off her running shoes, and replaced them with her skateboarding shoes. Devyn took pride in the condition she kept them in. Despite being almost two years old, they were still in mint condition. After putting on her skateboarding shoes, she reached into her closet to grab her board - which was also in excellent condition.
Finally, she shut the apartment door behind her, and locked the door. Devyn checked the time on her phone - 12 o'clock in the afternoon. Perfect, the theatre was open in an hour, so she would have plenty of time to get there. She kicked off on her board, and began riding off. With every kick off the pavement she made, she could hear the wheels grind with it. In one swift movement, Devyn bent her knees, crouched down, and popped her board into the air. Successfully, she landed both feet on the board, and kept moving.
Within about half an hour, Devyn reached the movie theatre. She skidded her board to a stop, and moved it - griptape outwards - underneath her arm. She checked her phone again - 12:30. It would be half an hour before the theatre opened. In the meantime, she just checked out the posters for the movies they would be showing that day. Nothing really piped her interest yet. Oh well, she had plenty of time to decide.
