The light breeze tugged playfully at the girl's hair as she walked leisurely along. The fallen, multi-coloured leaves danced in the gentle breeze. The days seemed to stretch on forever. Being new to this whole shifter situation, Stacy was bored, and felt rather alone. Stacy hardly knew anybody around here. All she had were her parents. Sigh, and her first day of school was tomorrow. She admitted, she was a little nervous. This was a whole new experience for her, after all. Then again, why should she be nervous? It was just like a normal school - except it wasn't exactly normal. At least Stacy would feel at ease, knowing there were others like her around here. As she walked along, she took a long, deep breath. Ahh, autumn. It was her favourite season of the year. It was so beautiful, so serene. It wasn't too humid, and it wasn't too cool. It was a seemingly perfect balance. Her favourite thing about autumn, besides the weather and beauty, was how the leaves changed colour and fell from the trees. To many, it was something ordinary - but to her, it was a miracle. Everywhere she looked, she saw something new and miraculous - which others shrugged off. From out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a bench - located underneath a large maple tree - bearing almost no leaves. The rest had fallen in a circular formation around the tree. It looked like a lovely spot to take a break. She could even catch up on some reading. Stacy sat upon the bench, setting her bag beside her. She unbuckled the messenger bag, pulling out her favourite of Shakespeare's works - "Macbeth". Stacy examined the book's bent spine. She smiled. She must've read this book almost twenty times. She flipped through it, observing the bent corners of the pages from where she'd marked them. With that, she opened it from the beginning, and let herself go in her reading.[/style][style=width: 460px; background-color: #EDEDED; font-size: 10px; color: #000000; margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; padding: 5px; text-align: justify]• word count: 340. • starring: Krispers as Stacy Johnson. • notes: It could've been longer, but... -shrug- • credit: original table by SEXTILLION!, lyrics by OneRepublic.[/style][STYLE=background-color: #000000; margin-left: 2px; margin-right: 2px; text-align: center; font-family: georgia; font-size: 20px; color: #ffffff; letter-spacing: 4px; text-transform: lowercase;] all i know is everybody loves me[/style] |
