generally, muscular and tallDaniel has a very unassuming air about him, and is very much the type of person everyone overlooks. At first glance, nothing intriguing about him catches the eye. He tends to wear very nondescript clothing, nothing flashy or out of the ordinary. Instead, he does his best to blend in, wearing solid, dark colours. It isn't that he isn't handsome or anything like that, because he is. He just doesn't make a big deal out of it.
Danny is a on the tall side of things, a little on the lanky side. Being a typical teenage guy, he does weights, making him rather muscular. He stands at about 6 foot, weighing a little over 190lbs. He keeps his black hair a bit longer than usual, and is a bit scruffy. Many a girl has sighed over his chocolate brown eyes, with perfect vision. Danny has several scars, the most notable one being on his forehead, right above his eye. He has other random little scars about him, and one tattoo. It's on his back, and of a dragon. It extends from his back onto his right shoulder, and down to where the head is curled around his bicep. He doesn't make any effort to hide it, though he certainly doesn't bring attention to it.
when shifted, muscular and bulkyDanny’s second form is that of a white wolf. He is a bit bigger than a normal wolf, standing about three feet tall at the shoulder. He is very regal looking, with a strong chest and neck. He’s very proud of his second form, and will tell anyone that. Danny’s pelt is almost pure white, without a speck of any other colour anywhere on it, except of one. Danny’s left front paw is pure black, a stunning contrast to the rest of his fur. His eyes are the same dark brown, though stand out more because of his white coat.
likes, sports, hunting, the colour blue, snow, winter, war movies, books, romance books (not that he'd admit it), talking
dislikes, arguing, idiots, liars, Chinese, violent people
strengths, reliable, physically strong, responsible
weaknesses, short-tempered, cold, holds grudges
habits, Whistling when he's nervous
secrets, He's afraid of the dark
traits, responsible, reliable, short-temperedCynical and sarcastic, Danny can sometimes an unpleasant person to be around. He has a sharp tongue, and has the ability to reduce you down to nothing. Danny doesn't believe in beating around the bush, and always says what comes to mind, however brutal and blunt it may be. People have often described him as cold, and that is partially true. He doesn't let very many people get close to him, and his depressive and cynical nature often drives people away. But it isn't completely true, not in the slightest.
For those who can manage to stand his biting remarks, his cold cynicism of the world, he is a very good friend. He doesn't change all that much from what he is normally, though he does appear a bit gentler. Just because he's stern doesn't mean he doesn't care. In fact, he cares all too much. He tends to take his responsibilities too seriously. He has trouble expressing his emotions because he's so use to bottling them up, and now struggles showing when he's happy or sad. He's more likely to make some cutting remark than actually show he's happy.
But once you get past that, you'll find a hard-working, caring guy who will do just about anything for those he cares about. Around his friends, he is witty and sardonic, saying things with a dead panned face to make them laugh. He's very loyal to his friends, and would rather die than betray them. Danny is the type of guy you can go to for advice and while you might not like what he tells you, rest assured that he'll tell you the truth. He does what he can to help his friends, though knows when it isn't his business. He’s more relaxed around them, warm and even friendly.
Danny can be sort of dense when it comes to relationships, both friend wise and other wise. Danny honestly doesn't care about social rules, and says what he wants, when he wants. It's not that he means to hurt anyone, but he tends to get slapped a lot by women. When it comes to relationships, he is the type of boyfriend who likes to spoil the one he cares about. He gets embarrassed (which is totally adorable, by the way) by extreme amounts of sentiment, but that doesn't mean he's cold hearted. He just pretends to be.
His friends and family mean everything to him.
Danny is one of those guys that when they get angry, you can be sure that someone is going to die. He has that cold temper. Instead of lashing out recklessly, he bottles it up, and becomes icy and distant, until it bursts. It’s terrible.

story, cheerfulDanny smiled. He loved talking about his family, and was fiercly proud of me. "Like I said, I have two younger brothers and two older sisters. My oldest sister is named Carrie, and she's 23. She's married to a doctor, and is a practicing vet. She's a bit stuffy, always very serious, but she's the one we run to when something goes wrong."
"Next is Ariel." He full out grinned at the thought of his closest sibling. "She's my best friend, and only a year older than I am. She's a fireball, that one. She hopes to one day be a diplomat, though she's gonna have to get some diplomacy first!" Danny ran a hand through his hair as he spoke, thinking about the twins. "Next is me, then the twins. Caleb and Joshua are 12, and they're ridiculously hyper. Both of them are football crazed, and want to go pro. I love them, yes, but they're so loud."
Danny tapped his finger on his knees, wondering what his parents were up to. "My mom and dad own a restuarant back home, the Cottage Cafe. Mom's a pastry cook, and loves it. Dad's a chef - cliche story, yes, but they actually met in Paris while they were students. They fell in love, married, and moved to Chicago, where they raised us. They're great parents, really. We aren't wealthy, no, but we're well-off. They didn't raise us with any sense of privilage! Dad would smack us upside the head if we thought we were better than anyone else!"
"I've had a pretty good life so far. Grew up in Chicago, found out I was a shifter when I was eight. Bit of a shock when my mother saw a white puppy sitting in the living room, that was for sure."
